By pursuing parallel careers in performance, production and marketing, Steve has a unique insight into the theatre industry. As well as performance credits including No. 1 UK tours and production credits including the Trafalgar Studios and Sound Theatre (West End), he has worked extensively in arts marketing.
As a Marketing Manager for Really Useful Theatres, his clients included: Cameron Mackintosh, Bill Kenwright, Nimax Theatres, Donmar Warehouse, ATG, Live Nation, Stage Entertainment, Sadlers Wells, the Royal Albert Hall, the Frieze Art Fair and Glastonbury Festival.
Freelance marketing credits include: Sound Theatre Leicester Square, Trafalgar Studios, The King’s Head, Upstairs at the Gatehouse, NML Productions, BusinessXL Magazine, Growth Company Investor magazine, Tenth Planet Productions, Ovation, ...andthenlondon, Demeter’s Men, Finger in the Pie, MusicMan Events and the F-IRE improvised music collective.
He founded the largest student arts festival in Europe during his time as a Director of Warwick Students’ Union and is co-founder and Artistic Director of TwoShed productions, whose board of advisors includes Aaron Sorkin (writer of The West Wing) and Rufus Norris (director of Cabaret and Market Boy).
He also organised the world’s largest pillow fight.

For the past six years, Alex has been following joint careers in graphic design and theatre, making him unusually well placed for his work with RedGate.
After studying Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Art and Design and Middlesex University, Alex set up Finger in the Pie Theatre Co, of which he is Artistic Director. Having directed four productions in the Midlands, Edinburgh and on the London fringe, he has first-hand experience of the financial and time pressures faced by a theatre company when promoting their work.
Working in both print and online, Alex's design and marketing credits include: Warwick Arts Centre, Belgrade Theatre (Coventry), C Venues, Cowgate Central, Smirnoff Underbelly (Edinburgh), Mountview Theatre Academy, Upstairs at the Gatehouse and Wimbledon Studios (London).
