Finger in the Pie Cabaret – April 2014


Finger in the Pie Cabaret are celebrating their 7th Birthday with a star studded Spring season. Between February and April we’ll be presenting the very best of contemporary circus, burlesque and variety curated by Finger in the Pie Artistic Director Alexander Parsonage. We’re sending in the clowns with performances from the award winning PiTheMime, the saucy Francois the Clown, the Bristolian Clown Prince of Persia Jody Kamali and international love therapist Ana Esmith. We have comedy capers from the surreal Heffernan and Fletcher, deliciously dark sketches from The Twins Macabre and character comedy from the unforgettable Jacob Edwards. We present the musical musings of cabaret chanteuse Eva Von Schnippish, Australian oral-auteur Claire Healy and Sadie Sinner The Songbird. There’s award winning burlesque from the beautiful Violet Blaze, Miss Luna Peach and Kim Khaos. Not to mention a whole host of the eclectic, bizarre and the beautiful including alt-drag sensation MissCairo Mascara, all presided over by our hostess with the mostess- our compere without compare – returning for his second year of Finger in the Pie the blond bombshell with legs to die for – the incomparable Michael Twaits!

PiTheMime has been running wild about London. Pi and the other mimes have been spotted in festivals, on the streets and in theatres across London – and they have their sights set on global takeover. Join Pi, Mimi, Ameli, Sayuri and Zabini the mimes as they provide laughs, sex and mischief galore! Which mime will be there tonight?

Tigerlily Wolf

Tigerlily Wolf is a 50s lovestruck girl dreaming of her poster boy and getting awfully hot and bothered in the process, featuring some tantalising vocals and a sensual strip.


LEELA….One name, One voice, HUGE rack. Leela started her Burlesque/cabaret career in Melbourne. Since then, she has headlined, written and starred in her very own show. Leela sings, strips and most importantly, entertains!

Miss Cherry on Fire

Jazz carnival elegance, experienced Pin Up model turned Burlesque Beauty. This Brazilian bombshell will show you how to move and will put a smile on your face.

Claire Healy

Claire Healy is a whimsical Australian cabaret artiste who takes on the most pressing issues facing us today: the impending zombie threat, ‘manscaping’, and that most underappreciated of oys, the Potato.

Titsalina Bumsquash

Titsalina Bumsquash presents Mavis and her Sexual Revolution: the desperate housewife who has all the glamour of a Rich Tea biscuit! Titsalina WON Legend in the Making 2013 at Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival with this act.

Jacob Edwards

Following appearances in ‘The IT Crowd’ (Channel 4), ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’ (BBC1), ‘10 O’Clock Live’ (Channel 4), comedian, writer and soon a regular on ‘Live at the Electric’ (BBC3), Jacob Edwards proudly presents his unique brand of character comedy. “An urbane, moronic and hedonistic clown. B B Hoops is a master of the Hula Hoop!! This adorable performer has hooped her way all around Europe. Even finding her way into Kensington Palace, The International Street Fest in Italy, Fashion Events for Mary Portas and in front of thousands at Bestival!! As one of Marawa’s Majorettes she has learnt from the best and even performed hula hoop on roller skates for the opening of Skate Kings Cross!!!! She is wonderfully cute and her skills will blow you away!
