Finger in the Pie offer a range of help and support to other organisations and projects. If you have received support from Finger in the Pie we ask that y0u display the relevant support logo. For general support from Finger in the Pie please use the Finger in the Pie Support Logo:
For support received through the Mimetic Commission please us the Mimetic Commission Support Logo:
Please find the details of how to use the Logo below. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us email@example.com.
How to use our support Logos
Please do not alter the proportions of the logos, enclose them in a box, add effects or crop them to fit into a small space. See the examples below, which demonstrate how misuse of the logo can affect its impact.
- enclose the logo in a box
- alter the proportions of the logo
- add effects to the logo, eg. shading or outlines
Our support logos should appear in black against a white or pale background or in white against a black or dark background. They should never be reproduced in any other colour.
The minimum sizes for the grant award logos appear below. Where possible, the logos should be larger, to ensure visibility. The width of the logos should always remain in equal proportion to their height.
|Page Size||Support logo height|
Plaques, site boards, hoardings and permanent signs
Signage must be clearly legible from a minimum of five meters, and so must be no smaller than the following minimum sizes:
- large format site boards and hoardings – 300 mm high
- permanent signs – 150 mm high
Ensure you place an exclusion zone of blank space around the two logos. Nothing (typography, graphic device or photographic detail) should encroach into this space.
The formula for the exclusion zone is detailed below and applies to all sizes of reproduction.
If any of our logos feature in a line-up of logos from other organisations, our exclusion zone requirements still apply.
The exclusion zone must be at least 1/4 the width of the Finger in the Pie roundel.
The logo should be positioned at least the distance of the exclusion zone from the edge of the page.
If you need to display one or more logos in a line-up, please make sure they are exactly aligned and reflective of the investment hierarchy. For example, where Finger in the Pie is the primary supporter, the logo should be the most prominent and should appear first in a logo line-up, and adhere to our exclusion zone guidelines.
If we have supplied support to your organisation as a whole we require that our supporters logo appears in the footer of your website, including on the home page. If we have supported a specific project we require that our supporters logo appear in the body or footer of each webpage dedicated to that project.
It must be clearly visible (a minimum of 70 pixels high). We also require you to include a link to our website, so people know who we are and how they can apply for our support. Our website address is www.fingerinthepie.com
Our support logo should feature in any print advertising that you run, which is related to the supported project or organisation.
If the size of advertising space does not allow you to include our logo in a size that is legible, use the words: ‘Supported by Finger in the Pie’ or ‘Supported by the Mimetic Festival Commission’, depending on the source of support.
Our print advertising guidelines also apply to recruitment advertising, if the advertised role is related to the supported project or organisation.
Brochures and programmes
Our supporters logo should appear on the front or back cover of all related brochures and programmes and adhere to the logo guidelines. If the support you received is allocated for a single project, which is part of a larger programme or event, then the support logo should be used on the brochure or programme pages that are specific to the project.
All press releases should feature a written acknowledgement of our support using the words: ‘Supported by Finger in the Pie’ or ‘Supported by the Mimetic Festival Commission’, depending on the source of support.
Film and broadcast media
Your visual media should acknowledge our support via use of the support logo.
